Add a Favicon (Website Icon) to your Blog in Blogger

Blogger has recently introduced a new feature to add favicons in the blogger / blogspot blogs easily. In my last article, i explained about icons and favicons, how to make favicons and then how to add a favicon in your website / blog. If you want to know about favicons and creating favicon then you can go to this article.

The old method of adding favicon in blogger blog is the same which is of any other website. In this tutorial you will learn how to add favicon in your blog using the new feature of blogger.

Follow the steps given below to start adding favicon in your blog:

1. Go to Blogger.com and sign in.
2. In your blog's layout settings, at the top left you will see a gadget named favicon. Click EDIT
3. Choose an icon (.ico) file from your computer to upload and then click SAVE
(if you haven't an .ico file then create one)


You have done it. It may take a few minutes or hours to appear favicon in the browser so be patient!!!
